Does HTTP handoff need to be enabled to cache or split a stream on the ProxySG?

If the client browser is using HTTP to communicate with the proxy, then yes, you need to enable HTTP handoff so the benefits of native streaming support can utilized, that is, caching on-demand streams, using streaming protocols to communicate with the origin server, and to split live streams.
