Problem Description

The meaning of the vertical line in the HTTP/FTP history statistics
You want to know the meaning of the vertical line in the HTTP/FTP history statistics

Resolution

In the history graphs, all of the colored vertical bars shown to the right of the black vertical line represent data being monitored in the current hour (or day) of proxy activity. The colored vertical bars to the left of the black vertical line have already contributed to a bar in the graph below it.

The clock for all statistics on a given ProxySG is synchronized, so once a one hour period has completed, a one hour bar will appear in the 24 hour period. Once 24 one hour periods have completed, then one entry appears in the 30 day graph.

The clock for each bar starts when the unit is booted for the first time after it has been manufactured. There are two methods that clear the statistics and start the time again.

  1. Any upgrades that add additional statistics
  2. A restore-defaults factory-defaults
