Problem Description

PacketWise automatically classifies Real Networks streaming audio and video (in the Real service group). To prevent this type of traffic from consuming the link, you should see a rate policy and (optionally) create a partition.

Because RealAudio and RealVideo is bursty traffic, a rate policy 0 bps guaranteed, burstable at priority 2 will keep it in check.

For stricter control, you can create a partition to limit this class to a specific bps. Guarantee 0-20% of the link and let it burst to 50-100%.

For more information about controlling streaming media, see Control Streaming Media in PacketGuide.
