Problem Description

To implement direct standby operation, you must modify the motherboard to disable the normal bypass relay function of a powered-down PacketShaper. This is done by removing the jumpers.

See Disable Bypass Relays for instructions on removing the jumpers.

The PacketShaper 1700, 3500, and 7500 models contain nine jumpers. All nine of these jumpers will need to be removed in order to disable the bypass feature.
