I can't log in in to my PacketShapers from IntelligenceCenter Web Console.

Problem Description

I’ve added my PacketShapers into IntelligenceCenter and put in the correct passwords.

In IntelligenceCenter, I click on the Network > Device Tab.  I select a PacketShaper to log in to.  A window opens up, but I still need to enter user name and password.  Why? 

Resolution

To log in automatically to a PacketShaper from IC, you need to do the following: 

Go into the Network Devices view.  If you haven’t done so already, add in your PacketShapers and at the General Tab, fill in the Required Information.  Put in the Touch Password and specify HTTP or HTTPS. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page. You will have to re-enter the User Name and Password under Single Sign-On Credential Information.  The User Name should either be touch or look depending on the level of access you want to give. 

After saving the changes, you should be able to click login and a pop-up window will take you directly to the PacketShaper without needing to ener the user name and password.  If this still does not work, check to see if your password is the same on the PacketShaper.  If you are not using the same password as you entered in IC, go to the PacketShaper Setup tab, and select Security from the drop down list.  At the Security page, put in the correct passwords.
