Problem Description

HTTP Client Workers not released when Form-based authentication mode is used

Symptoms

1. https://ProxySG:8082/HTTP/Statistics shows an unsual high number of "Client workers currently active (processing HTTP request)"

2. The following logs are generated in the Event Logs

Workaround

Temporarily use a non-Form-based authentication mode such as Proxy*, Origin*, and Auto

Resolution

This has been fixed in SG 6.2.5.1 and planned to be fixed in the next SG 6.1 GA release. Upgrading to SG 6.2.5.1 and above should address the problem.

This defect is not present in SG 5.5.6.2.
